SK Capital Expands Team with Two New Professionals

NEW YORK, October 3, 2017 – SK Capital Partners, a private investment firm with a disciplined focus on the specialty materials, chemicals and pharmaceutical sectors, announced today that it has expanded its team by adding Edward Donkor as a Principal and Simon Dowker as Director of Business Development.

Prior to joining SK Capital, Mr. Donkor was a Principal at Pine Brook Partners, where he played a significant role in sourcing and executing a variety of energy investment opportunities as well as holding active board-level responsibilities for several of Pine Brook’s portfolio companies. Before joining Pine Brook, he was an investment professional at First Reserve Corporation and an investment banker in the Global Industrial and Services Group at Credit Suisse.

Simon Dowker formerly served as a Managing Director at PJT Partners focused on the global Chemicals sector.  Previously, Simon worked at Jefferies where he was the Head of European Chemicals coverage. Educated as a chemical engineer, Simon started his career at UBS in London, Johannesburg and Dubai, where he focused on transactions in the chemicals and industrials sectors.
