Jon Borell Managing Director

Mr. Borell plays a leading role in all aspects of the firm’s investment strategy and execution. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Spectrum Vascular, Canlak Coatings, and Deltech. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Isolatek International, NuCera Solutions, VanDeMark Chemical, Florachem, Techmer, and Tilley Chemical.

Prior to joining SK Capital in 2019, Mr. Borell was a Managing Director at Sun Capital Partners. He spent over a decade leading investment sourcing and execution across a variety of industries including specialty chemicals, healthcare and consumer products. He had board-level portfolio management responsibilities and led numerous successful sale processes, debt refinancings, and add-on acquisitions.

Before joining Sun Capital, Mr. Borell served in the Investment Banking division of Raymond James & Associates.

Mr. Borell received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University.
